Leak Test Calculator

Find the right interval for leak testing your system with the Dimplex calculator.

When does a leak test have to be carried out for my system?

Test intervals according to Regulation (EU) 2024/573

Heat pumps and cooling units work with a refrigerant circuit. This cycle contains a refrigerant that is known as a greenhouse gas and is not allowed to enter the environment. Depending on the system/device type, a leak test must therefore be carried out at intervals of 3 – 12 months.

The following leak test schedule calculator will help you find the right interval for your system/device. All necessary information can be found on the nameplate of the system/device or in your documents. If there is no information to this effect on the nameplate, the system/device is considered not to be hermetically sealed.

The EU regulation requires that leak tests and maintenance work carried out on the system be documented. So that you can fulfill your documentation obligations, we provide you with a system logbook.
