Part 2: Advanced seminar - Refrigeration certification according to Cat II

Contents of the training
In the theoretical part of the advanced course, refrigeration systems are examined further with regard to their environmental compatibility or the legal regulations, and in preparation for the practical part, the tightness and its inspection are explained. This part deals with the installation and commissioning of a refrigeration system, including handover to the customer. Of course, troubleshooting on refrigeration systems is also an important part of the practical content. Basically, the advanced course in particular serves to optimally prepare participants for the subsequent Category II examination.
Equipment: Please bring your own work clothes and safety shoes to the training.

Seminar times:
- Duration: 31.03.-04.04.2025 (1 week including exam)
- Monday 11:00 to 16:00
- Tuesday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday 8:00 to 100 p.m.
Aim of the seminar:
After passing the examination, the participant receives a category 2 certificate of competence in accordance with ChemKlimaschutzV. This authorizes the participant to work on refrigeration systems with up to 3 kg (split units) or hermetically sealed systems with up to 6 kg of refrigerant.

- Carry out leak tests (without limiting the filling quantity)
Prerequisite
Persons,
who have successfully completed vocational training in an electrical or metal trade or supply engineering trade (in accordance with §5(2) - 1 ChemKlimaschutzV)
ANDhave attended the KAT II Basics seminar at Glen Dimplex
OR
- with at least 4 years of professional experience in refrigeration and air conditioning technology
- be able to provide evidence of professional experience from a company registered in the Register of Craftsmen of the Refrigeration Trade
(Proof of the necessary professional requirements must be submitted after registration by the start of the seminar at the latest).

Seminar fee:
850 EUR (includes accommodation with breakfast and meals during the seminar)
